OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1 now available for OnePlus 9RT

OnePlus has started rolling out the first OxygenOS 14 Open Beta for the OnePlus 9RT in India, allowing users to experience the new features and improvements offered by the latest iteration of OxygenOS ahead of the official release.

To upgrade to this build, your OnePlus device must be running the latest OxygenOS 13.1 version. You should also ensure that the battery level is above 30% and that a minimum of 4 GB of storage space is available on your device.

The OnePlus 9RT OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1 update changelog includes a couple of improvements and new features. Check out the complete update changelog below:

Smart and efficient

• Improves cloud photo service by Google Photos.

Security and privacy

• Improves photo and video-related permission management for safer access by apps.

Performance optimization

• Improves system stability, the launch speed of apps and the smoothness of animations.

Aquamorphic Design

• Upgrades Aquamorphic Design with a natural, gentle and clearer colour style for a more comfortable colour experience.
• Adds Aquamorphic-themed ringtones and revamps the system notification sounds.
• Improves system animations by making them even smoother.

User Care

• Adds a carbon tracking AOD that visualises the carbon emissions you avoid by walking instead of driving.

To apply for this very first open beta, go to Settings > About device > Tap up to date > Tap icon on the top right > Beta program > Follow the steps. To download the version after the application is passed: Settings > About device > Download Now.

In parallel, the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro are also receiving their very first Open Beta for OxygenOS 14. The update changelog for the two devices is the same as above.
