Light Rains Bring Respite to Rajasthan, More Showers Expected

Light rain with thundershowers was recorded in parts of Rajasthan on Sunday, offering some relief from the heat. Various locations saw rainfall ranging from 1 to 5 mm. More light to moderate rain is predicted in Bikaner, Jaipur, Bharatpur, Ajmer, and Jodhpur divisions in the coming days.

Light rain with thundershowers provided welcome relief to residents across parts of Rajasthan on Sunday, the local weather office confirmed.

According to officials, several areas recorded rainfall amounts ranging between 1 to 5 mm up until 8:30 am. The Meteorological Department has forecast additional light to moderate rain for regions within the Bikaner, Jaipur, Bharatpur, Ajmer, and Jodhpur divisions.

Jaipur MeT department Director Radheshyam Sharma reported that maximum temperatures are expected to remain below 45 degrees Celsius over the next few days, further alleviating the ongoing heat wave conditions.
