According to municipal commissioner Rajendra Bhosale, disaster management teams, drainage crews, traffic teams, health workers, and the fire department are on the ground to ensure public safety. Areas such as Dhanori, Nagar Road, Kothrud, Sinhgad Road, Bhavani Peth, and Padmavati saw substantial waterlogging in low-lying regions and parking basements.

Maharashtra deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, who also serves as the guardian minister of the district, took stock of the situation after speaking with the municipal commissioner and district collector. Residents have been urged to cooperate with the administration by reporting incidents of waterlogging and inundation through helpline numbers.
