Tragic Roadside Accident Claims Lives of Two Trainee Tailors

Two women waiting for a bus on NH-27 were fatally struck by a speeding car coming from Kota, officials report. Identified as Jyoti Prajapat and Varsha Nagar, the trainees were waiting to travel for training. The driver has been detained for investigation. The bodies have been handed over post-mortem.

Two women waiting at a roadside railing for a bus on NH-27 met a tragic end when a car speeding from Kota hit them on Thursday morning, officials reported.

The incident occurred around 8 am when the high-speed vehicle collided with Jyoti Prajapat and Varsha Nagar, flinging them a few meters away, detailed Dalpat Singh, SHO of Simliya Police Station.

The women, neighbors from Simliya town of Kota district, were to receive tailoring training at the Chambal Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited (CFCL) plant in Gadepan. They were declared dead upon arrival at a local hospital due to severe injuries.

Police have detained the car driver and registered a case for further investigation, confirmed Singh. After a post-mortem, the bodies were returned to their families.
