Fire Erupts in 20-Storey Mumbai Building

A fire broke out in a 20-storey building in suburban Mumbai, causing smoke inhalation injuries to four people, including a senior citizen. The blaze, confined to electric cables from the 15th to 20th floors, was extinguished within two hours by firefighters. The cause remains unknown.

Four individuals, including a senior citizen, were injured due to smoke inhalation after a fire erupted in a 20-storey residential building in suburban Mumbai on Wednesday morning, civic officials reported.

The blaze was detected at around 9 am in E High Tower on SV Road, Jogeshwari. It affected the electric cables from the 15th to 20th floors, an official stated.

Firefighting units, including two fire engines, extinguished the blaze within two hours of being alerted. The exact cause of the fire has not yet been identified.
