The incident occurred at approximately 5:10 AM on the third floor of Meghwadi Building on SS Road, following an explosion caused by a gas leak, according to an official report.

The fire was extinguished by 5:30 AM. The victims, including Kunda Rane (48) who sustained severe burns, are being treated at local hospitals. Rane’s condition, along with that of her children and another male victim, is reported to be critical.
