Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar discussed a range of key urban development issues in Karnataka on Wednesday, focusing particularly on traffic decongestion, solid waste management, and the extension of the Bengaluru suburban rail project.

During the meeting, Khattar assured full support for Karnataka's development initiatives and offered assistance in implementing various projects, according to an official statement.

The Union minister committed to the allocation of buses to Karnataka under the PM e-Bus Seva program, aimed at enhancing the state's public transportation system. Additionally, Khattar emphasized the need for waste-to-energy projects to revolutionize solid waste management, promoting efficient and sustainable practices in the state.
