Flash Flood Tragedy in Himachal Pradesh Claims Life of Yeshe Zangmo

A flash flood in the Kaza area of Himachal Pradesh's Lahaul and Spiti district claimed the life of a woman named Yeshe Zangmo on Friday, officials reported.

Her body was later recovered by rescue teams. Officials also noted that a vehicle was buried under debris as a result of the flash flood.

Since the onset of the monsoon on June 27, a total of 77 people have lost their lives in rain-related incidents across the state, according to the state emergency operation centre.
