SpaceX's Crew Dragon to Potentially Retrieve Boeing's Starliner Astronauts in 2025
NASA may use SpaceX's Crew Dragon to bring back two astronauts delivered by Boeing's Starliner to the International Space Station in June. This decision is due to safety concerns surrounding Starliner's return capabilities. Concurrently, Texas approaches the completion of the world's largest 3D-printed neighborhood, and scientists reach unprecedented depths in Earth’s mantle for research.
Boeing's Starliner astronauts could be returning on SpaceX's Crew Dragon capsule in February 2025, according to NASA officials. The decision is being considered if Starliner remains unsafe for re-entry to Earth.
NASA has been in discussions with SpaceX to keep two seats empty on an upcoming Crew Dragon mission to accommodate astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, the first crew to fly on Boeing's Starliner capsule.
Meanwhile, the world's largest 3D-printed neighborhood by ICON and the deepest rock sample obtained from Earth's mantle are also making headlines.
