School Van Collision Injures Six Students in Shaheed Path Accident

Six students were injured when a school van crashed into a divider on Shaheed Path in Sushant Golf City. The incident occurred due to a tyre burst. Two students suffered serious injuries and were taken to hospitals. The van driver has been detained with a case registered against him.

Six students sustained injuries on Friday morning when their school van collided with a divider on Shaheed Path, police reported. Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Tej Swaroop Singh confirmed that a tyre burst caused the van to crash near a prominent mall in the Sushant Golf City Police Station area.

Singh mentioned that out of the 12 students in the van, six were injured, with four sent to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and two to a private hospital. Among the injured, a nine-year-old girl admitted to the private hospital remains in critical condition, undergoing treatment in the ICU.

Following the incident, the van driver was detained, and a case has been registered against him, according to the police spokesman.
