During a progress review, Development Minister Gopal Rai asked for detailed reports on all schemes approved by the Delhi Gram Vikas Board by September 10. A budget of Rs 900 crore has been allocated for these developments.

The meeting at the Delhi Secretariat saw participation from officials of various departments including development, irrigation and flood control, and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Rai highlighted that under Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's leadership, the government aims to provide basic facilities in rural areas on par with urban standards.
