Tragedy Strikes as Jeep Crashes into Gorge

In a tragic accident in a hill district, three people lost their lives after their jeep plunged into a gorge. The incident occurred on a steeply sloped road near Panniyarkutty Church.

The victims have been identified as 55-year-old Bose, his 48-year-old wife Reena, and the driver, 50-year-old Abraham. Reena, who was the elder sister of Olympians K M Beenamol and K M Binu, was returning with her husband from a relative's house when the accident happened around 10:30 pm on Friday.

Locals rushed to the scene and transported the injured to Adimali Taluk Hospital, but sadly, Bose and Reena were pronounced dead en route. Abraham was moved to a private facility, where he succumbed to his injuries later, according to local reports.
