Tragic Incident: Toddler's Life Cut Short by Car Window Accident
A young boy in Chakia village faced a tragic fate after his neck got caught in a new car's automatic window, leading to his untimely death. A tragic incident unfolded in Chakia village when a one-and-a-half-year-old boy lost his life after his neck became trapped in the automatic window of his family's new car. The incident happened during a temple visit to Chandadih village, where the family was performing prayers for their newly acquired Baleno vehicle.
Roshan Thakur, the grieving uncle, shared with reporters that his nephew, Reyansh, was innocently looking outside the car window at a monkey when the vehicle was started, causing the automatic window to close and trap the child's neck. Despite efforts to save him, the boy was pronounced dead at a Mau hospital soon after.
While the family has refrained from reporting the incident to law enforcement, Ubhaon Station House Officer Rajendra Prasad Singh confirmed that an investigation is underway to determine the details surrounding the unfortunate event.
