A fatal motorcycle accident in south Delhi's Tigri area has claimed the life of 37-year-old Rashid Khan. Authorities report Khan lost control of his vehicle, striking a divider before plummeting into a pothole filled with sewage water, an incident raising serious safety concerns about road conditions.

The accident was reported to the Tigri Police Station after a PCR call identified a body near the Hamdard Hospital road on Monday. Upon arrival, officers discovered Khan, a Sangam Vihar resident, with severe head trauma. The investigation suggests Khan was not wearing his helmet and lost balance trying to avoid sewage water.

Rashid Khan succumbed to his injuries at AIIMS Trauma Center. Authorities have registered a case under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, including rash driving. Police are exploring if another vehicle might have been involved in the tragic accident.
