In an astonishing feat of rapid construction, Bengaluru's Mount Roofing & Structures Pvt Ltd set a world record by completing a 1.2 lakh square feet pre-engineered building in only 64 hours.
The building, part of a major solar PV manufacturing plant project, was constructed at KIADB Industrial Area, Sira, Tumkur, Karnataka. Santosh Shukla, an adjudicator from the World Book of Records Limited, UK, certified the accomplishment at a ceremony attended by M B Patil, the state's Minister for Infrastructure Development, who emphasized Karnataka's leading role in innovative infrastructure solutions.
Sher Singh, the Managing Director of Mount Roofing, pointed to the potential of pre-engineered building technology as a transformative force in industrial construction, promoting speed, efficiency, and sustainability.
