Rajasthan Braces for Weather Shift Amid Thunderstorms

Rajasthan witnessed an unexpected change in weather as several areas, including Jaipur, were hit by light to moderate rain coupled with thunderstorms. This weather pattern was attributed to a western disturbance, according to a spokesperson from the Meteorological Department.
In a 24-hour period leading up to Friday morning, Tonk emerged as the region with the highest rainfall, recording 83 mm. Meanwhile, Jaisalmer was identified as the state's hottest area, reaching temperatures of 41 degrees Celsius.
Looking ahead, the department predicts a decrease in rain and thunderstorm activities from May 12-13, alongside a potential rise in temperatures by 3 to 5 degrees.
