A wall collapse near the Lieutenant Governor's house in Civil Lines led to the deaths of a 40-year-old woman and her teenage son. The tragic incident, which occurred on Tuesday amid heavy rainfall, resulted in injuries to two others, according to officials.
The Delhi Fire Services confirmed that a call about the collapse at an under-construction building was received at 9:53 am. Authorities identified the deceased as Meera and her 17-year-old son, Ganpath.
In addition to the fatalities, the accident left Meera's other son, Dashrath, 19, and a man named Nanhe, 35, injured. The community has been left in shock as investigations continue.
