Kerala Launches First Neurodiversity-Friendly Coworking Space
Kerala has inaugurated its first neurodiversity-friendly coworking space called 'i by Infopark'. Located at Ernakulam South Metro Station, this 48,000 sq ft facility supports over 550 professionals with modern amenities. It targets gig workers, freelancers, multinationals, and aims to boost innovation and job creation statewide.

In a landmark initiative, Kerala has unveiled its first neurodiversity-friendly coworking space, named 'i by Infopark'. Situated at Ernakulam South Metro Station, the expansive 48,000 sq ft facility aims to create an inclusive work environment for professionals with diverse needs.
The space, which accommodates more than 550 professionals, is equipped with modern amenities such as high-speed internet, power backup, and 24/7 security, along with a cafeteria and flexible work areas. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan highlighted the project's potential to drive future innovation and job creation across the state.
With customizable rental arrangements, the coworking space caters primarily to gig workers, freelancers, multinational companies, and IT/IT-enabled service providers. Should the initiative be successful, the government plans to replicate similar centers statewide to further foster a culture of inclusivity and economic growth.
