In a tragic incident this past Wednesday, two children lost their lives after a venomous snake bit them while they were asleep in their home, according to police reports.
The victims, Vaishnavi, aged 13, and her younger brother Monu, aged 8, were found unconscious by family members in the morning. The family's attempts to save them by rushing to the hospital proved futile, as doctors pronounced them dead on arrival.
Authorities have registered a case and sent the bodies for post-mortem examination. Villagers expressed growing concerns over increased snake incidents following recent rains and urged local administration to implement preventive measures.
