In an ambitious move, Indian real estate firm Yugen Infra has teamed up with South African cricket legend Gary Kirsten to establish a 10-acre cricket-themed villa project near Goa. The Gurugram-based company plans to offer 30 exclusive Cricket-Front Villas within the project.

Aside from the villas, Yugen Infra will develop an international school with sports facilities, overseen by Kirsten, who aims to integrate cricket and chess into the curriculum. Yugen Infra's MD, Sheeshram Yadav, revealed that the total investment for the venture would amount to Rs 180 crore.

Expressing enthusiasm for the collaboration, Kirsten, who led India to a World Cup victory in 2011, emphasized the importance of fostering sports alongside education. He hopes to replicate successful models from South Africa to enhance holistic child development. The venture is part of the broader Yugen Golf City township, spanning 500 acres on the Goa-Maharashtra border.
