Thane's Skyline Set to Change with New TMC Headquarters

Municipal Commissioner Saurabh Rao is accelerating construction of the Thane Municipal Corporation's new administrative headquarters, a 32-storey building designed by architect Hafeez Contractor. Progress is being fast-tracked with plans to transplant trees affected by construction. Completion is expected by 2027.

Municipal Commissioner Saurabh Rao convened a review meeting on Wednesday to expedite the development of the Thane Municipal Corporation's (TMC) upcoming administrative headquarters.

The headquarters, a 32-storey architectural endeavor designed by Hafeez Contractor, is under construction at Raymond Company's site in Vartaknagar.

Rao has mandated a rapid completion of primary phases, while executive engineers have reported that trees disturbed during construction are being relocated. The project is slated for completion by 2027.
