A tragic accident unfolded on Thursday in the City Police Station area near Sadhai Behata. A speeding truck collided with an e-rickshaw carrying three students, leaving two dead and one seriously injured, according to police reports.
The victims, identified as Harsh Sharma, 20, from Lucknow's Jankipuram, and Arshad, 21, from Delhi's Jamia Nagar, suffered critical injuries. They were promptly rushed to Hardoi Medical College, where doctors pronounced Sharma and Arshad dead upon arrival.
The third student, Anil Kumar from Hardoi's Behata Gokul area, was seriously injured and has been referred to Lucknow for advanced medical care. The group was on its way to an exam at Dr Ram Manohar Lohia College in Allipur, confirmed Circle Officer (City) Ankit Mishra.
