Tragedy Strikes: Nilgai Collision Claims Young Life

A tragic accident unfolded in Madhya Pradesh's Guna district as a four-year-old girl lost her life after a nilgai collided with the family's moving vehicle. This incident, reported on Friday by officials, occurred Wednesday evening near Bilonia village.

The family, comprising Sonu Jat, his wife, and their daughter Tanya, were travelling to their ancestral village, Magrada, to celebrate the festival of Makar Sankranti. As they approached the Do Khambha area on the Guna bypass, two nilgai suddenly ran onto the road.

Before Sonu could take evasive action, one of the animals crashed through the windshield. Tragically, the impact proved fatal for young Tanya, while her parents sustained injuries. Locals and forest officials promptly acted, rushing the injured to a district hospital and rescuing the animal, now in a critical state.
