Starlink Disconnection: No Setback for Russian Drone Operations
Despite the disconnection of Starlink terminals used by the Russian military, drone operations remain unaffected, according to Deputy Defence Minister Aleksei Krivoruchko. Ukrainian officials have claimed the disconnection had significant impacts, while Ukraine's military continues to use Starlink for communication and piloting missions.
The disconnection of Starlink terminals used by the Russian armed forces has not impacted their drone operations, a senior military official stated on Tuesday.
Deputy Defence Minister Aleksei Krivoruchko disclosed on State Television that, despite the terminals being offline for two weeks, there has been no reduction in the efficacy of the troops' unmanned systems.
The announcement came following Ukrainian claims that the disconnection significantly handicapped Russian operations, while confirming that the Ukrainian military heavily relies on Starlink for communication and drone control.
