An important highway bridge linking Iran’s capital, Tehran, to the city of Karaj was subjected to air strikes on Thursday. Fars news agency reported that several people were injured due to the attack.
The strategic location, known as the B1 bridge, is noted for being the tallest bridge in the Middle East and had its inauguration earlier this year.
Additional areas in Karaj also suffered from the attack, adding to concerns over the escalating tensions in the region.
