Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has inaugurated a series of significant development projects, notably the Rs 256 crore high-level bridge over the Chambal River. This infrastructure aims to strengthen connectivity between the Kota and Bundi districts, enhancing travel efficiency and socio-economic growth.
The bridge will connect Dhipari Chambal in Kota with Chanada Khurd in Bundi. Alongside the bridge, Rs 281 crore has been allocated to additional development projects, including roads and drinking water facilities. These efforts resolve longstanding forest department objections, marking a transformative period for the region.
This wave of progress also includes the upcoming Jharel bridge for improved access to Sawai Madhopur, new rail surveys, and comprehensive water projects. Rajasthan's Agriculture and Rural Development Minister highlighted these advancements as historic for Hadoti and eastern Rajasthan, with notable impacts on irrigation and agriculture productivity.
