Leading experts underscored the urgent need to focus on groundwater recharge initiatives, long-term water conservation strategies, and public campaigns to encourage rainwater harvesting to safeguard the state's water resources.
During the session, Minister N S Boseraju directed Executive Engineers to prevent water leakages and promote the new 'Neeriddare Naale' or 'Water is Future' scheme, signaling a proactive approach to avert drought-related challenges.
