In a significant action against wildlife poaching, forest officials in Odisha's Kendrapara district seized 20 kg of venison and apprehended an individual linked to illegal hunting activities.

The operation took place in the Dakhina Mahinsidiha protected reserve forest within the Bhitarkanika National Park, following a tip-off on Wednesday.
