A one-day patent workshop for researchers and startups took place at CSIR-NIIST, marking the Rashtriya Boudhik Sampada Mahotsav 2026, which coincided with World Intellectual Property Day.

The event was a collaborative effort between CSIR-NIIST and the Intellectual Property Rights Information Centre under the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology, and Environment.
