Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday spotlighted the transformative journey of Jewar, an area swiftly morphing into a significant economic hub. Passenger flights from the Noida International Airport are set to start on June 15, marking this once notorious region's emergence on the global investment map.
Speaking at the '9 Years of Transforming Uttar Pradesh' conclave, Adityanath lauded the region's rapid development. Previously plagued by crime, Jewar now houses India's largest airport. Airlines like IndiGo and Akasa Air have already announced flight schedules, adding to its new identity as the 'jewel of India.'
The Chief Minister highlighted the drastic changes since 2017, including governance reforms and infrastructure projects like major expressways. Adityanath emphasized policy-driven incentives to attract investments, ensuring transparency and growth across sectors such as agriculture and transportation.
