The TTD has employed various conservation strategies aimed at preserving the forest wealth and revitalizing native flora in the Seshachalam Hills.

Strategic measures include deploying flying squads to patrol the forests against illegal activities and maintaining extensive fire lines to prevent forest fires. Significant efforts have been made to replace exotic plantations with native species, with a focus on reviving local biodiversity. Nurseries are also actively maintained to support these restoration initiatives.
