Russia hits Naftogaz facility in Ukraine's Kharkiv region, company says
Russia launched two waves of attacks on Naftogaz's key facility in Ukraine's Kharkiv region, prompting the energy company to review and tighten its security protocols.
Russia struck one of Ukrainian energy company Naftogaz's key facilities in the northeastern Kharkiv region in two waves of attacks with drones and missiles, the company said on Tuesday.
"This is a deliberate tactic of terror," said Naftogaz CEO Sergii Koretskyi. "This is how the Russians are trying to inflict maximum damage not only on infrastructure, but also on people who are rescuing, repairing, and rebuilding."
Naftogaz was reviewing and tightening its security protocols, he added.
