India: Twitteraties claim 'strong' earthquake in Kolkata, Bengal; magnitude not known yet

A light-to-moderate earthquake has possibly shaken India's Kolkata city on Saturday at around 4:00 pm local time. There have been no immediate reports of any damage. The magnitude of this earthquake is not known yet.

Dozens of people have tweeted felt reports but an official confirmation is still awaited.

Tremors were felt in several other districts of West Bengal as well and people had rushed out of buildings, local media reported.
