An Earthquake of magnitude 5.2 strikes 831 km North-East of Ruatoria in New Zealand. No casualties have been reported so far.

Earlier on August 12, An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 5.4 has shaken various parts of New Zealand. Most of the felt reports are being received from Queenstown, Arrowtown, Milford Sound and other parts of South Island.
