Minor earthquake hits parts of Turkey, most felt in border region

A minor earthquake has hit parts of Turkey, according to European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).
The quake was majorly felt in Turkey's border region with Dodecanese Island.
The earthquake measured 3.1 on the Richter scale but no damage has been reported yet. The epicenter of the quake was located 16 km southwest of Bodrum at a depth of 2 km.
The quake was a minor one and did not last long as suggested by the testimonies on the website of EMSC.
According to one testimony on the website of EMSC who was in Turgutreis 9 km northwest from the epicenter, the quake was felt slightly and lasted only for one or two seconds.
Another witness in the same city reported that the whole house shook but ver shortly. Another one said the jolt lasted for two seconds.
