Police say burglars caused $10,000 worth of damage at Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig's home earlier this week, in the fourth burglary incident at one of Puig's residences in the last year and a half.
The Los Angeles Police Department said Puig's San Fernando Valley, Calif., the home was broken into Tuesday night, while the Dodgers were playing the Rockies. Per police, suspects ransacked the house and dragged a safe from the second floor downstairs to the front door, where they left it before fleeing.
Police are seeking three African-American suspects in their 20s who left the scene in a black, four-door Toyota, the same suspect's police believe were involved in a burglary attempt on Puig's home at the end of August.
Puig said little about the incident on Wednesday -- before hitting the go-ahead home run in a win over the Colorado Rockies -- but did say he didn't "sleep too much yesterday."
Puig's home was also burglarized during Game 7 of the World Series in November, about eight months after he had about $170,000 of jewelry stolen from a different home in Sherman Oaks, Calif.
