Ryan Haggerty signs two-year contract with Penguins

The Pittsburgh Penguins signed forward Ryan Haggerty to a two-year contract on Tuesday, the team announced.
The two-way deal pays Haggerty an average of $675,000 annually if he is with the Penguins. He'll make $100,000 if playing for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League.
Haggerty, 25, was assigned to the AHL team on Sunday. He had two goals and one assist in two preseason appearances with the Penguins.
Haggerty had 37 points (16 goals, 21 assists) in 47 AHL games last season.
He has 106 points (51 points, 55 assists) in 217 games in four AHL campaigns.
