The victory over England on Saturday was Australia's first in nine games and while there was room for improvement Bell was delighted with the result. "It was a pretty awesome win," he said. "We came in with a plan and in some areas, we didn't execute it. Training this week has been really hard and we just need to keep working on the areas we didn't get right.

"But overall you can always be pretty happy and content with beating England in the first test of a series."
