For a brief moment, it seemed like Iga Swiatek might falter in the French Open final against Jasmine Paolini, trailing early and making uncharacteristic errors.

The top-seeded Swiatek, however, adjusted quickly and overpowered Paolini, winning 10 consecutive games for a 6-2, 6-1 victory. This win marks Swiatek's third consecutive French Open championship and fourth in five years.

“I love this place, honestly,” Swiatek said, cherishing her 21-match winning streak at Roland Garros. The 23-year-old from Poland is now 35-2 in career matches at the French Open. Jasmine Paolini, seeded 12th and appearing in her first Grand Slam final, acknowledged the challenge of facing Swiatek, calling it the toughest in the sport.
