India's Badminton Rankings Shake-Up: Ups and Downs for Top Players

Premier Indian doubles pair Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty slipped to third in the Badminton World Federation rankings after withdrawing from the Indonesia Open. China's Liang Wei Keng and Wang Chang are the new men's doubles No.1s. In men's singles, HS Prannoy and Lakshya Sen maintained their top-15 positions.

In a significant shift in the Badminton World Federation rankings, India's top doubles pair, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, fell to third place after pulling out of the Indonesia Open last week.

China's Liang Wei Keng and Wang Chang emerged as the new No.1s in men's doubles, while Denmark's Kim Astrup and Anders Skaarup Rasmussen climbed two places.

Despite winning the Thailand Open in May to reclaim the No.1 ranking, Chirag and Satwik saw a dip in form, exiting in the first round of the Singapore Open last month and withdrawing from the ongoing Australian Open.
