Sachin Tendulkar has led heartfelt tributes for India's former fast bowler David Johnson, who tragically passed away on Thursday at the age of 52. Johnson died after falling from his fourth-floor apartment balcony, and an investigation is currently ongoing to ascertain if it was a case of suicide.

Expressing his grief on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Tendulkar said, 'Deeply saddened by the passing of my former teammate, David Johnson. He was full of life and never gave up on the field. My thoughts are with his friends and family.'

The Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) also mourned Johnson's death. In a statement, the KSCA emphasized that Johnson’s passing is a substantial loss for both Karnataka and Indian cricket, describing him as 'big-hearted' and saying he will be sorely missed.
