Suryakumar Yadav's blistering fifty and Jasprit Bumrah's sensational bowling spell thwarted Afghanistan's ambitions of an upset in the T20 World Cup Super 8s match. Indian captain Rashid Khan acknowledged their dominance.

Yadav smashing 53 off 28 balls, lifted India from a precarious 62/3 to an imposing 181 for eight. Afghanistan, charged by a brief early momentum, couldn't meet the total, falling short by 47 runs.

Exceptional performances from Bumrah, with figures of 4-1-7-3, compounded Afghanistan's woes. Rashid attributed their defeat to inexperience and the challenge posed by Bumrah’s skillful bowling. He emphasized the need for strategic learning against high-caliber teams.
