Pierceson Coody delivered an astonishing performance with an 11-under 61, marking the lowest round of his PGA Tour career, to claim the first-round lead in the ISCO Championship.
Coody tallied 11 birdies in a flawless morning round at Keene Trace's Champions Course, stringing six straight birdies on holes 5 through 10. He concluded his round with a 5-foot birdie putt on the par-4 18th.
“I've been putting really well all season,” said Coody, grandson of 1971 Masters champion Charles Coody. “Thanks to solid play and numerous birdie opportunities, today saw a lot of my putts go in.”
