Sabeera hit 29 out of her first 40 targets, narrowly missing the silver medal won by Italy's Sofia Gori with 39 hits. The gold medal was secured by Carey Garrison of the United States, who hit 40 targets.
Entering the finals with a qualifying score of 113, Sabeera strengthened her resolve by defeating Gori in a shoot-off to determine the fifth and sixth qualifying spots. Despite missing three consecutive shots thereafter, she recovered by missing only three out of the next 18 targets, making her level with Gori and just behind Garrison at one point.
As the competition intensified, Sabeera struggled, missing six out of her next 15 targets compared to Gori and Garrison's three misses each, ultimately securing her the bronze. Among the other Indian competitors, Bhavya Tripathi finished 26th with a score of 102 and Rajkuwar Ingle placed 33rd with a score of 100.
In the junior men's trap event, Arya Vansh Tyagi narrowly missed advancing to the title round, exiting in eighth place after falling short in a shoot-off for the sixth qualifying position.
