Pascal Wehrlein of Porsche emerged victorious in an action-packed London E-Prix, taking a narrow championship lead. Nyck de Vries of Mahindra Racing worked his way through the field, finishing fourth after starting 14th on the grid.
Nick Cassidy, who led the championship prior to the race, managed to finish seventh from 17th, maintaining his title hopes. Mitch Evans, Cassidy's Jaguar teammate, finished second, closing the gap to Wehrlein to just four points.
The race also marked the best performance of the season for Mahindra Racing. De Vries gained ten places, while his teammate Edoardo Mortara finished fifth after starting 16th. The Porsche team’s strategic decision to have Wehrlein activate his Attack Modes late in the race allowed him to conserve energy and secure the win. Maximilian Günther of Maserati retired from second place due to technical issues.
