The Chennai Super Kings have revealed plans to open their fourth Super Kings Academy cricket training centre in Chennai, in collaboration with SV High School, Vanagaram.
Building on their previous launches in Thoraipakkam, Sri Ramachandra Medical College (Porur), and Guru Nanak College (Velachery), the IPL-winning franchise continues to expand its footprint. The Vanagaram centre will begin coaching boys and girls aged 6-23 starting on August 19.
This state-of-the-art facility boasts five turf pitches, three astro pitches, two matting and concrete pitches, and floodlights to enable evening practice sessions. CSK CEO KS Viswanathan expressed gratitude for the support since starting the academy in 2022 and emphasized their commitment to providing top facilities and opportunities to young cricketers in different parts of the city.
