Drama unfolded at the Belgian Grand Prix as Aston Martin's Lance Stroll crashed in a rain-hit final practice session on Saturday. Red Bull's Max Verstappen, the current Formula One leader, clocked the fastest lap time despite the challenging conditions.

After dry practice sessions on Friday, rain at Spa disrupted the drivers' preparations. Stroll aquaplaned after the Raidillon corner, hitting the barriers and breaking his car's left-front suspension. The session was temporarily halted, and Aston Martin confirmed Stroll was taken to the medical center for routine checks.

Verstappen's time of two minutes and 01.565 seconds was the fastest, with McLaren's Oscar Piastri and Alpine's Pierre Gasly following. The session resumed briefly, enabling drivers to practice starts, but conditions remained poor. McLaren's Lando Norris, second in the drivers' championship, showcased strong form, posing a threat to Verstappen, who faces a 10-place grid penalty.
