Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh in Contention for Olympic Bronze
Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh have advanced to the bronze medal playoff in the 10m air pistol mixed team event at the Olympics. Arjun Babuta finished fourth in the men's 10m air rifle, while Ramita Jindal ended seventh in the women's event. Prithviraj Tondaiman placed 30th in trap qualification.
Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh have positioned themselves for a second Olympic medal as the duo advanced to the bronze medal playoff in the 10m air pistol mixed team event. Meanwhile, in the men’s 10m air rifle event, Arjun Babuta succumbed to pressure and finished in fourth place.
In the women’s 10m air rifle final, Ramita Jindal secured seventh place. Babuta, despite a strong start, faltered towards the end, finishing fourth in the individual final. Additionally, Prithviraj Tondaiman scored 30th in the trap qualification round.
The highly anticipated bronze medal match involving Bhaker and Sarabjot will see them compete against Korea’s Oh Ye Jin and Lee Wonho. The other Indian pair, Rhythm Sangwan and Arjun Singh Cheema, failed to make the medal rounds, finishing in 10th place.
