The shooting range in Chateauroux has become Manu Bhaker's happy hunting ground. Observers, including Olympic champions like Anna Korakaki and Nino Salkuvadze, are not surprised by the Indian sensation's outstanding performance so far.

Bhaker, a highly experienced shooter at only 22, is on course to win her record-extending third Olympic medal after qualifying second in the 25m pistol final on Friday.

Already holding bronze medals in the 10m air pistol and 10m air pistol mixed team events, she is the first Indian to bag two medals at the same Summer Games. Greek shooter Korakaki, the 2016 Rio Olympics champion in the 25m, has long admired Bhaker's talent and work ethic.
