Star pistol shooter Manu Bhaker received a hero's welcome on her return to India after clinching two bronze medals at the Olympics. Dozens of enthusiasts braved persistent drizzle to greet her as her Air India flight touched down in Delhi. The 22-year-old Bhaker, who made history with her dual victories in the women’s 10m air pistol and 10m air pistol mixed team events, was celebrated with garlands, rose petals, and fervent applause.

Bhaker's journey from Paris was slightly delayed, but her arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport was nothing short of festive. Supporters and officials from multiple states turned up to celebrate her achievement, holding banners and showering her with admiration. Among the attendees were Bhaker's parents and sports enthusiasts from her native states, making the moment even more special.

Speaking to the media, her coach Jaspal Rana expressed pride in Bhaker's accomplishments, while his father echoed the sentiment, highlighting the significance of her young age and the historical milestone she has achieved.
